The 2 v 2 Cup & 3 v 3 Cup
Why the Small Sided Series?
Small Sided Series is based on a European concept that focuses on developing individual talent, helping grassroots kids reach their full potential.
In tournaments, the typical playing time is 45 minutes per player. However, the quality of these minutes can vary widely. If there are any advanced players on the team, the other players usually end up passing to them. This lowers their game time and limits their technical growth.
Why does S•S•S work?
Small-Sided Series flips the entire game, especially in the 3v3 formats.
In such a small format, each kid is responsible for doing everything. They have to block, tackle, defend, pass, dribble and shoot at a minimum, for the same amount of game time.
These are high-intensity, high-pressure games that require quick, constant decision-making for each of the above skills throughout the match.
More reps under pressure not only help them grow faster but also develop intelligence and self-confidence.
Our Philosophy:
Growth Creates Greatness.
We do not compete with others, but ourselves, and the goal is to improve upon who we were yesterday, in the last session and in the last match. Incremental improvements over time have a compounding effect that creates greatness.
Results we expect for our participants:
Those who participate in our S•S•S tournaments regularly can expect to see the following changes in their child:
-
Growth in Confidence
-
Improved quality & speed of decision-making under pressure
